Double Trouble

Last Friday my class performed in front of the whole school!  We had so much fun and they did such a great job!!!  After they were finished they asked if we could do it again!  We have been learning our doubles addition facts during calendar time and to help us we have been singing a song called "Double Trouble".  Click the link below to view a video of my sweet class performing for the school!  (My camera ran out of memory, so we didn't get it all, but we got most of it!)

One Brave Teacher!!!!

Before Fall Break the students attended a fun assembly as a reward for their efforts during the fundraiser.  The assembly was a young man that does stunts on bikes.  Not only was he very entertaining, but he also taught the students a lot about bike safety and never giving on goals that they want to achieve.  At the end of the show he selected three teachers from the audience.  He then asked the crowd if they would like to see him jump over these three teachers.  Of course one of the teachers selected was me!  Here is the video of his jump!  I think it's safe to say that I don't think I will be allowing anyone to jump over me with anything that has wheels ever again!
